The Perth Scorchers have announced two changes to their 13-player squad ahead of their traditional Boxing Day KFC Big Bash League match at home at Optus Stadium, this year aiming to settle the score against the Sydney Sixers.

Paceman Matt Kelly has recovered from illness and returns to fire up #TheFurnace, while local big hitter Tim David gets his first call up for the summer.

The BBL Technical Committee has approved the following Local Replacement Player changes:

Ins: Matt Kelly (returns from illness), Tim David (Local Replacement Player)
Outs: Liam Guthrie & Sam Whiteman (omitted)
