Bloemfontein will be hosting their first bio-secure environment of the CSA Provincial 3-Day and 1-Day Programme when Pool B gets underway from Monday, 22 February.
During the lockdown period Free State (FS) Cricket successfully hosted individual 4-Day Domestic Series matches and are looking forward hosting Free State, KZN Inland, Easterns and Limpopo.
With two 3-Day matches and three 1-Day matches scheduled to take place at Mangaung Oval and CUT Oval over a period of 15 days, the staff worked hard to get all the preparations in place and are ready for the teams’ arrival on Saturday.
“We are looking forward to welcome all the teams. The fields and pitches are in a great condition and we hope you will enjoy this couple of weeks with us”, FSCU Stadium Manager Nico Pretorius said.
CEO of FS Cricket Johan van Heerden added: “We are looking forward to welcoming all the teams to the City of Roses, we wish you all the best for the weeks to follow. Let’s play hard cricket and keep the game as a gentleman’s game going forward. May the best team win!”
