Rising star voted Thunder Members’ favourite player of WBBL|06

Young gun Hannah Darlington has been voted Player of WBBL|06 by Sydney Thunder Members.

The talented all-rounder claimed 19 wickets at an average of just 13.68 and an economy rate of 6.19 to finish second on the overall league wickets table.

She cemented herself as one of the league’s best death bowlers, with her changes of pace and match-winning yorkers forming a crucial part of Thunder’s title-winning bowling attack.

Off the field, the proud Kamilaroi woman has become a fan favourite and exceptional role model for young girls and boys.

The winners of the Alex Blackwell Medal for WBBL|06 and Mike Hussey Medal for BBL|10 will be announced on Friday evening at the Cricket NSW Awards.
