Big-hitting Englishman voted Thunder Members’ favourite player of BBL|10

Star batsman Alex Hales has been voted Player of BBL|10 by Sydney Thunder Members.

Hales finished his second season in green as the tournament’s leading run-scorer with 543 runs at a remarkable strike rate of 161.61.

The big-hitting Englishman also pocketed the record for the most sixes in a single season with 30 maximums.

Undoubtedly his best game was at Adelaide Oval when he scored a brilliant century to help Thunder secure an important win over the Sydney Sixers.

The winners of the Alex Blackwell Medal for WBBL|06 and Mike Hussey Medal for BBL|10 will be announced on Friday evening at the Cricket NSW Awards.
