With the new restructuring of professional cricket, it’s an opportunity to contribute and be part of building success in the region. Legends of cricket have come out of this region and we would like to develop some more home-grown hero’s again. I see my role at Border as one in which I have to help nurture a team culture and to get each player to perform at optimum level. It is an honour to be named head coach for the Border region and Iam excited to get to East London and to connect with the team.”
