This week, the Dutch men’s team will play two ODIs against Scotland on Wednesday 19 and Friday 21 May at the VOC site in Rotterdam. The start is at 11 a.m. on both days. Due to the corona measures (even after the relaxation of May 19), no spectators are allowed on the site. Instead, the matches will be streamed on the KNCB YouTube channel.Click here directly to the livestreams!

Experienced Scottish selection

For Scotland, the two ODIs against the Netherlands will be the first international games since the team played in the third round of the CWC League 2 in Dubai in December 2019 against the UAE and the USA. The two subsequent World Cup qualifying rounds in which Scotland would play have now been postponed again due to the corona pandemic. Coach Shane Burger takes a very experienced selection to the Netherlands. Read more about it here .

The Netherlands recently played a three-country tournament in Nepal against the host country and Malaysia. National coach Ryan Campbell mainly used this tournament to give a number of young players many opportunities and to give them international experience.

The last time that the Netherlands and Scotland met in an official ODI dates back to almost ten years ago. The two countries played two international matches in Aberdeen in 2011, both of which were won by the host country.

Preview national coach Ryan Campbell
