Experienced Scottish selection

For Scotland, the two ODIs against the Netherlands will be the first international games since the team played in the third round of the CWC League 2 in Dubai in December 2019 against the UAE and the USA. The two subsequent World Cup qualifying rounds in which Scotland would play have now been postponed again due to the corona pandemic. Coach Shane Burger takes a very experienced selection to the Netherlands. Read more about it here .

The Netherlands recently played a three-country tournament in Nepal against the host country and Malaysia. National coach Ryan Campbell mainly used this tournament to give a number of young players many opportunities and to give them international experience.

The last time that the Netherlands and Scotland met in an official ODI dates back to almost ten years ago. The two countries played two international matches in Aberdeen in 2011, both of which were won by the host country.
