After retiring from the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires last season, Bruce Oxenford re-joins the CA National Umpire Panel.

Oxenford called time on a magnificent international career at the end of the 2020-21 season.

Following his retirement from the international game, which culminated in a rare home Test match at the Gabba, Oxenford resumed duties at CA domestic level and won his fourth Cricket Australia (CA) Umpire Award.

Eloise Sheridan is the new addition to the CA Supplementary Umpire Panel.

Sheridan is a former player with the Sturt and Kensington Premier Cricket Clubs and has been on the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) Premier Umpiring Panel since the 2015-16 season.

Following strong performances at WNCL, WBBL and CA pathway matches, Sheridan was appointed as a member of the International Panel of ICC Development Umpires in 2019.

In the most recent season, Sheridan was appointed to umpire the rebel WBBL|06 Final, had Third Umpire duties during the KFC BBL|10, and stood in her second SACA Premier Cricket First Grade Final.

Donovan Koch has been added to the 2021-22 CA International Panel Umpires list.

Koch, a former First-Class cricketer from South Africa who played 21 matches at First-Class level and 20 List-A games, was appointed to the National Umpire Panel in 2019-20.

Koch stood in all CA Senior Men’s competitions last season as well as in the CommBank Women’s Internationals, and brings with him substantial experience at the professional level.

CA Match Officials Manager, Sean Easey, said;

“We’re incredibly lucky to have such outstanding candidates for each of our Umpiring Panels.”

“Eloise has consistently impressed at every level of cricket in which she has officiated and we’re excited to watch her continued development.

“Donovan is a tremendously talented Umpire, and his appointment to the CA International Umpires Panel is just rewards for his consistently excellent performances.

“It’s also wonderful to welcome Bruce Oxenford back into the CA Umpiring system. Not only is Bruce a world class umpire, his commitment to developing young up and coming umpires and the knowledge he brings to our team is a great result for officiating in this country.

“I’d also like to thank Gerard Abood for his excellent service as a member of the CA International Umpires Panel. His knowledge and experience will continue to be invaluable for our team domestically and I have no doubt he will continue to press for selection to our international panel in the future.”
