The Melbourne Stars are proud to launch the Melbourne Stars Foundation. The Stars have a rich history of community impact and charitable giving, and will be formalising this support ongoing through the Foundation.

The Foundation will operate under three key pillars:

FUNDRAISING – the Melbourne Stars will leverage its reputation as one of Australia’s biggest and best sporting clubs to generate donations. This will be done via our events, match days, online activity, and commercial partners. Funds generated will be used to deliver or facilitate community support programs with relevance to the Stars family.

COMMUNITY – the Melbourne Stars have a history of supporting the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities and will continue to build on this support. We are also committed to supporting Indigenous communities in South East Victoria, as well as delivering our new Team Green initiative which focusses on environmental and sustainability activity.

INTERNATIONAL – the Melbourne Stars have attracted some of the biggest names in international cricket to Melbourne and have a huge international following. We are committed to supporting these players and fans in their home communities.

Donations are made through the Australian Sports Foundation and donations over $2 are tax deductable.
