Head of Media Relations

Cricket Australia is looking for a driven Head of Media Relations to join our Marketing & Communications department.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Marketing & Communications you’ll be responsible for leading communications for the Australian Men & Women’s Cricket teams, domestic and international.

About The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of communication professionals to develop and implement our national communications program
- Providing strategic advise to CA on all media relations
- Developing and maintaining an effective media strategy
- Driving Cricket’s share of voice in the media to ensure it is well covered in the sports media landscape
- Build, leverage and maintain relationships with critical media stakeholders
You’ll Have
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field is desirable
- Significant demonstrated experience in a large, complex and issues rich environment managing corporate affairs and media relations
- Demonstrated experience in gaining positive coverage for corporate positioning
- Sound experience as a corporate spokesperson
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
- Strong written communication skills
