Mr. Azizullah Fazli has been appointed as acting Chairman of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) he has been working since 2000 in the Cricket field, he did many efforts for strengthening Cricket in Afghanistan. He has huge professional experience in Cricket in the country and has played a countable role in improving this sport among generations for two decades.

On the day of his introduction on August 22, he assured Afghanistan Cricket Board’s employees that, an appropriate environment will be provided for their much contribution in all domestic and international events, and as well as pointed that; their competencies shall be utilized for much improvement of ACB Administration in order to bring much happiness for Afghan people.

In addition, he mentioned that in consideration of the current situation in Afghanistan; he plans an outstanding preparation for the upcoming International Cricket World Cup 2021 with full regard to good coordination with ICC.  

Mr. Fazli added, Cricket is an effective input for the happiness of Afghans and the development of the country, and it is much required to keep the trend of continuously working for such significant goals.

At the end, he stated hereinafter the ACB leadership will serve and support the different levels of Afghanistan Cricket and all the achievements related to Cricket will be maintained well.

The session ended with the pray for the development and prosperity of Afghanistan.
