Reporting to the Performance Marketing Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the successful implementation of digital customer marketing campaigns with specific focus on email marketing across the product portfolio at Cricket Australia.

Specifically, the focus is on retaining and growing our audiences across formats and driving deeper fan experiences, ticket sales and revenue, viewership, participation registrations and increased passion and love of the game.

About The Role

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering and coordinating smart and integrated marketing campaigns.

Specifically, You Will Be Responsible For

  • Supporting the Marketing Managers to deliver segment-led integrated marketing and email communications plans across the different product offerings from participation right through to elite.
  • Supporting the Marketing team to grow and engage with our existing fan base and take charge of our CRM database planning and implementation.
  • Coordinating the implementation of integrated marketing and communications plans with a focus on email marketing. Work closely with CA functional areas and appropriately brief then on requirements and input into their proposed support plans.
  • Successfully setting up & deploying EDM campaigns with Acoustic.
  • Analysing data and preparing reports on each EDM to provide recommendations and suggestions for future EDMs and partners.
  • Tracking performance of new CRM initiatives, including new journeys and A/B testing.
  • Reporting on data errors and escalate potential issues.
  • Contributing to the development of and execution of marketing plans to drive attendance and participation outcomes across product portfolios.
  • Development of content plans with the greater marketing team to ensure alignment.
  • Supporting the ICC World T20 team (as required) on delivery of their tournament requirements and ensure alignment of our go to market strategies.
  • Ensuring the Cricket Australia brand and identity is adhered to in all campaigns, communication materials and channels including the development of presentation materials.
  • Coordinating campaign approval process with legal and commercial teams.
  • Assisting with writing, editing and proofing marketing campaign materials, managing consistency with brand, creative and media strategies.

About You

  • To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • A creative and dynamic mind that’s motivated and enthusiastic
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing and communications
  • Strong project coordination skills, which you’ll use daily
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, email marketing platforms, content management and Google Analytics
  • Copywriting capabilities highly desirable
  • Proven experience in coordinating marketing campaigns
  • Experience in set up & deployment of EDM campaigns
  • Digital marketing experience – including knowledge of growing digital audiences through core acquisition channels i.e. search and performance marketing
  • Experience in leveraging data and insights to plan campaigns
  • Proven experience in collaborating, influencing and managing stakeholders
  • Current (or willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check and permit
