The Titans Ladies have entered into their bubble, ahead of the first round of the CSA Women’s Provincial competition.

After an extended wait, the move into the bubble represents the start in earnest of the 2021/22 season for women’s cricket.

“It’s just a very exciting feeling in the squad at the moment,” Coach Byron Fraser explained.

“The team has been working hard, and we’ve got some really good energy across the whole squad.

But players are wired to play, and compete, so we are really looking forward to testing ourselves in proper competition.”

The squad comprises club and provincial stalwarts, and Proteas Women star Sune Luus will sprinkle her international experience and enthusiasm across the team.

Stalwarts such as Paulina Mashishi, Eliz-Mari Marx and Gandhi Jafta are all expected to show up strongly, having contributed regularly under the Northerns Women banner.

“The core of this squad has been together for a period of time now, so we are expecting a strong season from them,” Titans Cricket Services Manager Charlotte Serwadi said.

Titans Ladies Squad: Robyn Searle, Josephine Maswangane, Kay-Leigh Tapp, Kgalalelo Matsepe, Ricea Coetzer, Nicolien Janse van Rensburg, Paulina Mashishi, Sune Luus, Amogelnag Maphangula, Eliz-Mari Marx, Monalisa Legodi, Gandhi Jafta, Katherine Prior, Khanyisile Skhosana.
