Following the recent government announcements and move to the new Covid-19 Protection Framework, the below changes have been made to NZC domestic cricket competitions.

  • Central Stags v Northern Districts Men, Plunket Shield, 11-14 March 2022 – McLean Park (moved from Fitzherbert Park)
  • Central Stags v Auckland Aces, Plunket Shield, 5-8 April 2022 – Fitzherbert Park (rescheduled Round Three match, originally at Saxton Oval)
  • Central Stags v Auckland Aces, Ford Trophy,  1 February 2022 – Fitzherbert Park (moved from McLean Park)

There will be no Elimination final for Ford Trophy to prioritise fitting more cricket in for the Auckland Aces. The top two teams at the end of pool play will proceed to the Grand Final.

The Auckland Aces and Otago Volts will only play nine Ford Trophy fixtures meaning this competition will be decided by the“points per game”system.

Updated schedules for all NZC domestic competitions can be found on the NZC website, click here.
