Jess has been a star performer in the cricket network over the last few seasons through her role at Otago Cricket. She has been a true champion of women and girls cricket across Otago, as well as eagerly supporting other MAs in their efforts. Jess has a wealth of knowledge across community cricket, and has established various successful initiatives in Otago, such as Girls Smash and Fern Fever.

‘We’re thrilled to welcoming Jess to Auckland and the NZC team in the new year’ said Kent Stead, NZC’s Head of Community Cricket. ‘Jess has been a key part of the Otago Cricket team, and she brings a wealth of practical experience and passion to the role. It’s also pleasing when there are opportunities within the cricket network for people to develop their careers, and this is a great example’

Jess will continue to progress NZC’s strategic priority of women and girls cricket across New Zealand, a key focus areas as we approach Cricket World Cup 2022 in just a few months time.
