Melbourne Renegades: Champions League finals locked in

The Melbourne Renegades Champion League winners will be decided this weekend in Melbourne.

The semi-finals and final of the tournament will be played on Sunday 9 January in St Kilda.

Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and Afghanistan are the four teams who have progressed through to the finals.

Sri Lanka will host Afghanistan in the first semi-final at Harry Trott Oval and India will host Pakistan in the second semi-final at Ross Gregory Oval, with both games starting at 9.30am.

The final will be played between the two winners at 2pm at Harry Trott Oval.

The Melbourne Renegades Champions League is a competition that aims to increase the number of South Asian cricketers who progress from recreational cricket to professional cricket in Australia and to showcase the talented South Asian players and match officials living in Victoria.

Six teams – also including Bangladesh and Nepal – featured during the competition.

This was the sixth edition of the tournament, with the 2021-22 edition proudly supported by Truck Assist.
