    We’re looking for a passionate and driven Commercial Manager to join our Broadcast & Production team. If you are experienced in sports broadcast, documentary production and distribution and archive commercialisation with a solid commercial or sales background then this could be the ideal role for you!

    Reporting to the Head of Broadcast & Production you’ll be responsible for commercially-driven broadcast projects that will generate new revenue for Australian Cricket, and support efforts to deepen engagement with the game through non-live television storytelling.

    About the role

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    Commercialisation of International Broadcast Feeds:
  • Procurement of sales agents and virtual & graphical suppliers (via an RFP process)
  • Engagement with sales agent/s to ensure they have necessary operational/technology information to support sales effort, and delivery for sponsors
  • Negotiation of contractual terms with external suppliers to ensure optimal arrangements in place in regard to financial terms and cashflow
  • Ensure requisite operational support for technology supplier
  • Engagement with broadcast partners and technology partners to ensure planning and requisite testing is undertaken as necessary

    Development and execution of CA Films commercial plan for production and distribution of documentary and non-live TV content

    Negotiation of commercial terms and project owner for World Feed delivery service, including key point-of-contact for international television rights-holders and satellite delivery supplier

    Support efforts to secure live streaming sponsors, and support for new business pitches to partners as may be necessary

    Commercialisation of match vision archive

    About you

    You’ll have:
  • Extensive experience in sports broadcast and/or international content sales distribution
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and sales performance
  • ‘Business owner’ mindset
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with a confidence to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Excellent budget management and forecasting ability
  • Ability to adapt and pivot rapidly to respond to a changing environment
