ACB-RTA sign SCL Production and Broadcasting MoU

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and the Radio-Television of Afghanistan (RTA) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the production and broadcast of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022. The MoU was signed in an event organized in ACB which was attended by top management officials from both organizations.

Addressing the event, ACB Chairman Mr. Mirwais Ashraf expressed his pleasure in signing the agreement with a national entity (RTA) to provide the production relevant services to Afghanistan Cricket Board. He further added that both organizations will work and coordinate together to make the SCL2022 a success. 

Mr. Ahmadullah Waseeq, the head of the RTA reciprocated the remarks of Mr. Mirwais Ashraf and added that the game of cricket has always contributed to conveying the positive image of Afghanistan to the world. He further said that the event will provide capacity-building opportunities to the technical staff in both organizations. 

The Shpageeza Cricket League will feature eight different franchises and is scheduled to be conducted from 18th July to 5th August in Kabul.
