We’re looking for a driven League Event Coordinator to join our Big Bash Leagues (BBL) team. Reporting to the League Operations & Event Director, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and supporting the League’s Operational and Event Presentation requirements to drive best-in-class entertainment experiences for fans.

About The Role

The League Event Coordinator plays an important role coordinating the League’s match day requirements, as well as supporting our 8 Clubs to deliver a best-in-class sports entertainment experience for fans. This role will be key liaison between Cricket Australia’s functional areas and Big Bash Club Event Managers for planning and execution of the season.

The role will coordinate & provide guidance on the operational delivery of match day requirements which includes planning & coordinating League activation requirements as it relates to Match Day, producing & updating key guidelines for CA partner planning, coordinating League responsibilities in relation to League & strategic partner activations, participating in commercial partner planning sessions and coordinating Diversity & Inclusion week activations.

You will be the point of contact for the Partnerships team and for BBL clubs in relation to logistics.

The role will coordinate the League’s approval process for Match Day activations requests and support planning and execution of WBBL and BBL Finals Series. You will also provide administrative and operational support to the BBL team and wider BBL team on non-Match Day related events.

You are someone who loves to create planning & process documents, is super organised and has strong attention to detail. You are also someone who likes to create new ideas, challenge the status quo, and build memorable experiences for fans.
