The Opening Ceremony of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2022 was held this morning in Kabul Cricket Stadium. The ceremony was attended by the ACB’s top management, the Franchisee Rights Owners, National Players and the SCL Committee Members.
Addressing the audience, the ACB Chairman, Mr. Mirwais Ashraf expressed his pleasure at the commencement of the event and said that the future of the game is in safe hands as the start of this event is a very positive indicator of ACB’s continuous struggle for the development of the game in the country. Furthermore, he thanked the government, the security agencies, the franchisee rights holders and all the involving parties for their contribution in making the event successful.
In addition, the Franchisee Ownership Rights holders thanked the ACB for their struggle, preparations and all the arrangements for the event. It’s to mention that the eighth edition of the Shpageeza Cricket League started today in Kabul Cricket Stadium which features 8 different franchises and will run till August 5 in Kabul.
