Cricket Netherlands: Cricket selection announced for T20 games against New Zealand

On 4 and 5 August 2022, the Netherlands will play two T20 matches against New Zealand on the field of Voorburg CC. Acting national coach Ryan Cook has announced his roster for the games. In the New Zealand squad, the name Michael Rippon stands out; he previously played for the Netherlands.

The most striking name in this list is that of left arm wrist spinner Michael Rippon, who has played for the Netherlands 31 times in recent years (since 2013). Batsmen Guptill and Mitchell and bowlers Santner, Sodhi and Ferguson, among others, are in the global top 100 of the individual T20 ranking.
