Bio

Nadia Gruny is a former USA Women’s International cricket player, and current executive with USA Cricket. 

Gruny was born in Trinidad and Tobago, but subsequently moved to the US. Her US Women’s team debut came in May 2019 against Canada. Later that year she joined the US team in the 2019 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier in Scotland. She was America’s leading scorer in the tournament. Gruny was the first USA female player to score a half-century in a T20 international match. Nadia Gruny eventually retired from play in 2021. 

Gruny became a Director for USA Cricket in 2018, while she was still playing, and has continued her cricket administration role subsequent to her retirement.

Outside of her cricketing endeavors, Gruny has pursued a career in the technology sector. She serves as a Manager – HR technology for Oracle, where she has worked since 2008. 

Gruny graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from South Carolina State University in 2006, and received an MBA from the University of Central Florida in 2008.
