Northern’s Taimoor Sultan has been fined 25 per cent of match fee for a level 1 breach of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during his side’s Cricket Association T20 match against Sindh yesterday.

Taimoor violated Clause 2.8 of the conduct when he raised his both hands after being adjudged LBW and delayed his departure from the crease.

Umpires Ahmed Shahab and Aftab Gillani levelled the charge, and Taimoor, who pleaded guilty to the charge, accepted the sanction proposed by match referee Athar Laiq.
