The summer of Cricket is fast approaching – and in preparation, cricket clubs & players across New Zealand have been busy transitioning to our new competition management system, PlayHQ.

Since the beginning of August, 15,000 plus cricketers across New Zealand have registered on the platform, as well as 774 cricket clubs.

Cricketers – make sure you register for the Summer season using a registration link provided to you by your club. If you can’t locate a suitable registration form at https://www.playhq.com/new-zealand-cricket then please contact your local cricket administrator.

Registration using PlayHQ is a simple 3-step process….

1) Click on a PlayHQ registration link provided by your club, or locate a registration form at: https://www.playhq.com/new-zealand-cricket

2) For your first registration using PlayHQ, follow the instructions to create a PlayHQ Account. If you already have an account, simply login to proceed to register.

3) Enter or update your details, review T&C’s, and if required pay your registration fee all in the one  process. Ensure you submit your registration! You will receive an email confirming your successful registration.

Many associations have also begun to take registrations for NZC’s new Smash Play junior-tamariki programme through PlayHQ.

Across the country there are already 313 Smash Play Hubs for your tamariki to register to.

For more information on the Smash Play programme, click below: https://play.nzc.nz/programme/smash-play-junior-tamariki

PlayHQ have developed many in-depth resources available to help club administrators, parents, and players familiarise themselves with the platform.

E-Scoring:

This includes a range of e-scoring resources to help even the non-technologically savvy people get familiar with e–scoring before the first ball is bowled.

Find PlayHQ’s ‘E-Scoring Guide,’ ‘How To’ Video Tutorials, and even a virtual e-scoring tool by clicking here.

FAQ’s:

NZC (New Zealand Cricket) & PlayHQ staff have been busy answering a range of questions from within the cricketing community – find these FAQ’s here.

If the videos or support articles do not answer your question, check out New Zealand Cricket community hub or submit a support ticket via New Zealand Cricket zendesk
