Bio

Karina Murtagh is a cricket administrator who served as the Ruth Strauss Foundation’s inaugural Chief Executive Officer from Sep 2019 to April 2022. She served as the lead project manager for the Foundation, helping raise over £ 550,000 as the Lord’s Cricket Ground turned #RedForRuth in August on day 2 of the 2nd Ashes Test between England and Australia.

She was previously Senior Insight Manager for England And Wales Cricket Board for almost 15 years from 2005 to 2019.

Murtagh, wife of former Irish bowler Tim Murtagh, received a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing and Related Support Services from Leeds Beckett University in 2002.
