Off-season is a prime opportunity for coaches to reflect on the season just gone and upskill to prepare themselves for the next season. These Coach Connects webinars are interactive and offer opportunities to learn and share with likeminded coaches from across the country.

This winter season, Cricket Ireland’s live webinars will cover three key topics that will support coaches in developing their own ‘coaching toolbox’ for next season:

“Developing Club Environments” – a brilliant opportunity for coaches of all sporting codes to interact with Stevie Baxter of The Sporting Pursuit and learn how to produce truly effective coaching processes ultimately leading to long term success for clubs and growing participation numbers. https://www.thesportingpursuit.com/

“Culture Build” – as coaches we all want to create the optimum environment for players to grow. This webinar will give coaches the opportunity to look at best practices in delivering positive culture within their own teams and clubs, and how influential they can be on developing the person and not just the player.

“Best Practice in Coaching”- this webinar focuses on the current best practices in coaching, and allows a space for coaches to reflect on their current practices and develop those further.

Cricket Ireland’s Coach Education Manager, Stephen Maxwell says:

Coach Connects aims to create an engaging, knowledge sharing network of coaches across the island of Ireland. This winter, these webinars intend to aid coaches with their personal development, as well as equipping them to create the best club environment for their teams and players to thrive.
