Bio
Nick Cummins is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Cricket Victoria, serving in this role since August 2021. He also served Cricket Victoria as a General Manager, Big Bash League in Commercial and Marketing for almost two years, looking after the Commercial responsibilities at Cricket Victoria’s two BBL teams, Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars.

Cummins previously served Cricket Tasmania as Chief Executive Officer for 2 years, as well as was the General Manager of Sydney Thunder for almost 4 years from August 2013 to April 2017.

Cummins was previously at Cricket Australia, where he developed Cricket Australia’s National Hospitality Program Strategy.

Cummins previously worked in sponsorship roles with major companies such as Betfair, Ford Motor Company and Fosters Group.

Cummins started his career in Sports Management in 1997 where he worked with Elite Sports Properties (ESP) as a Communications Division Manager for 8 years. During this period, he was involved in a number of Major Sporting events, including 1998 Commonwealth Games, 2000 Summer Olympics, 2002 Winter Olympics, 2002 Commonwealth Games and 2003 Rugby World Cup.

In 2016 Cummins was recognised for his achievements at Sydney Thunder, winning NSW Sports Awards Administrator of the Year.

Cummins has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from RMIT University in 1995.
