Bio

Christopher Botherway is currently the General Manager of Big Bash Leagues Experience at Cricket New South Wales. He has been in this role since May 2022.

Previously, Botherway was General Manager Customer Experience as a WBBL and BBL Lead for Cricket NSW for a year.

Botherway previously worked for Sydney Thunder for over 7 years, working in different capacities. He started in September 2014 as a Digital & Social Media Manager before working as a Media & Marketing Communications Manager for over 3 years. He was the acting General Manager for a year before being confirmed as the permanent General Manager in March 2020.

Previously Botherway has experience in administrative roles as well as in Media roles, having performed these roles for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club for seven years.
