The 2022/23 Cricket South Africa (CSA) One Day Cup kicks off on Friday, 02 December until Thursday, 29 December 2022 as the summer of cricket amplifies.

The #SummerOfCricket aims to encourage fans to turn up in numbers and bring vibrant colours to enjoy the family affair, picnics, music, and braai, throughout the festive period.

Tickets are available at Ticketpros and in stadia across the country.

The opening match in Division One will see a repeat of last season’s final as the Momentum Multiply Titans host DP World Lions in Centurion. This encounter will be broadcast live on SuperSport at 13h00.

A number of matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport, and non-televised games can be streamed live from the CSA YouTube page.

More Division One action on Friday will see Hollywoodbets Dolphins travel to Paarl to face-up against the Gbets Rocks while North West Dragons will host Dafabet Warriors in Potchefstroom.

On Saturday, Division Two teams will kickstart their campaigns with three opening matches. Six Gun Grill Garden Route Badgers will host Mpumalanga Rhinos in Oudtshoorn, Northern Cape Heat travels to Buffalo Park against Eastern Cape Iinyathi and in Pietermaritzburg, AET Tuskers take on Limpopo Impalas.

CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki, urged the South African public to continue being part of the summer of cricket.

“This season, we are honoured to be hosting a number of matches to give reason to owning the summer as the CSA 1-Day Cup will be played throughout December, in different venues across the country.

“In South Africa, this is a time for family and a time to enjoy being outdoors with loved ones. We urge the SA public to come in at all venues and show the world how we celebrate cricket in SA ahead of the two global events we are hosting in January and February 2023.

“South Africa will host the inaugural ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup between the 14-29 January 2023, followed by the eighth ICC Women’s T20 World Cup from 10-26 February 2023.

“Proteas will also be welcoming England, West Indies, and Netherlands for bilateral tours in early 2023 and all South Africans ought to be part of the action,” concluded Moseki.

Fixtures are attached. Non-televised matches will be streamed live on the CSA YouTube Page and ball-by-ball action will be available live on the CSA App.
