The Melbourne Stars are pleased to announce an all-time membership record, heading into the opening home game of BBL|12.

Having surpassed the club’s previous best of 10,435, the club would like to thank each of the members that have signed up throughout WBBL|08 and BBL|12.

The Stars have assembled some of the world’s biggest names including world number 1 ODI bowler Trent Boult, English international Luke Wood and reigning player of the season, Joe Clarke along with Australian representatives Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis.

“We’d like to thank each and every member who has signed up to be a part of the Stars family for BBL|12 and WBBL|08,” Melbourne Stars General Manager, Blair Crouch said.

“Off the back of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia, there’s a huge appetite for T20 cricket and to see the Melbourne Stars this season.

“We’re here to provide families with the best possible sporting experience this summer and we’re looking forward to a big crowd on Friday at the MCG when we take on the Hurricanes.”
