The closing ceremony of the Lanka Premier League 2022 will commence today at 5:45 p.m. at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo, with the participation of the two finalists, distinguished officials, and fans.

The ceremony will be colored by a spectacular display of entertainment acts comprising music, dance, and colorful fireworks, thus bringing joy and excitement to the audience.

The ceremony will commence with the performance of the National Anthem and be followed by entertainment acts by the UMS Choir with Umaria Sinhawansa, Chandana Wickremesinghe Dance Guild, Bhartee Jhhaa, an Indian dancer, and several solo acts by singer Chitral Somapala.

Former Pakistani cricketing great Wasim Akram will deliver the guest speech during the closing ceremony.

Mr. Shammi Silva, President of Sri Lanka Cricket; Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa and Mr. Ravin Wickramaratne, Vice Presidents of Sri Lanka Cricket; and Mr. Samantha Dodanwela, Tournament Director of the Lanka Premier League 2022, will be in attendance, as will the two finalist teams.
