The Sydney Sixers and Sydney FC are set to join forces this summer, offering a two-for-one ticket deal to cricket and football fans.

The joint ticket will gain fans access to both the Sixers match at the SCG on January 15 and the Sydney FC match at Allianz Stadium on January 7.

Two of the most successful sporting clubs in Australia, Sydney fans will have the opportunity to see the three-time BBL Champions and five-time A-League Champions up close and in action.

The Sky Blues will take on Wellington Phoenix on January 7 in the incredible surrounds of the brand-new Allianz Stadium, before one of the all-time showdowns on January 15 at the SCG, with the Sixers facing major rival, the Perth Scorchers on home turf.

The match is also set to be the first appearance for Australian superstar Steve Smith, marking his return to the Big Bash for the first time since BBL|09. Smith committed to the Sixers earlier this month in one of the biggest coups of the summer.

Additionally, travel to and from the SCG and Allianz Stadium has been made FREE for all fans with a valid ticket or membership, thanks to the NSW Government.

Head of Sydney Sixers Jonathan Robinson-Lees said the deal was a win for sports fans.

“Sydney sport fans are the beneficiaries of this exciting new partnership with Sydney FC. It is a perfect fit – two of the most recognised clubs in Australian sport at two of the most iconic venues in our city.

“By working together, the Sydney Sixers and Sydney FC have been able to provide excellent value to cricket and football fans with this offer.”

Details of the ticket offer are below.

Adult $40, Family $80.

Sydney Sixers v Perth Scorchers.
January 15 – SCG (7.15pm)

Sydney FC v Wellington Phoenix.
January 7 – Allianz Stadium (5.00pm)
