Greenpanel Industries Ltd., India’s largest wood panel manufacturer, announced its association with the Indian Premier League franchise Delhi Capitals as the Principal Partner ahead of the 2023 IPL season. Greenpanel will also associate with Delhi Capitals’ sister team – the Pretoria Capitals, which will compete in the inaugural season of the SA20.

As a part of this association, Greenpanel will appear on Delhi Capitals and Pretoria Capitals’ jerseys throughout the 2023 season. Along with being featured on matchdays, Greenpanel will be integrated into both teams’ training jerseys as well.

Based in Gurugram, Haryana, Greenpanel is one of the largest Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), Plywood, Decorative Veneers, Flooring and Doors manufacturers in the country. The organisation is Asia’s market leader in Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF).

Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Shobhan Mittal – MD & CEOGreenpanel Industries Ltd. said “We are pleased to associate as principal partners with the Indian Premier League franchise, Delhi Capitals for 3 years. Greenpanel is India’s largest wood panel and MDF manufacturer. We are the ones who have brought the culture of MDF to India and made home furniture more affordable for all. We are a young company and want to associate ourselves with the youth and young home buyers. Greenpanel is at the nascent stage in its brand journey and therefore this association will help the brand to establish itself in the consumers’ mindset.”

Mr. Dhiraj Malhotra, CEO, Delhi Capitals, said, “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Greenpanel as our Principal Partner for IPL 2023. I am certain that the organisation’s strong customer base will further help us grow the Delhi Capitals’ brand value. We look forward to building a long and fruitful relationship with Greenpanel.”

The Pretoria Capitals players will wear the Greenpanel logo on their jerseys when they begin their SA20 campaign on Thursday, 12 January, against Sunrisers Eastern Cape at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth. Thereafter the team will host the Sunrisers Eastern Cape in their first home game at SuperSport Park on Saturday, 14 January.
