Please note the first three days of the second Test between the BLACKCAPS and England at the Cello Basin Reserve in Wellington, starting February 24, have been sold out.

While demand for the first Test at Mt Maunganui’s Bay Oval, starting February 16, has been at a similar level, the greater capacity at this venue means ticket sales for the opening Test have not yet been exhausted.

New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White said he was delighted with the level of interest in the series.

“The England team is always a great drawcard in New Zealand – they bring with them a fun-loving travelling supporters group, and reputation for playing exciting cricket,” said Mr White.

“Kiwi cricket fans love to watch them in action against the BLACKCAPS, and particularly now they’re coached by one of our former greats in Brendon McCullum.”
