Cricket South Africa (CSA) is set to mount the first-ever Career Expo during the South Africa and West Indies Test series that will be played at SuperSport Park between 28 February and 4 March 2023.

This initiative is part of an educational theme headlining the series, aimed at offering career guidance to learners, students, and young professionals. Various institutions, including CSA and sponsors, will set up their gazebos inside the grounds where they will showcase the numerous careers options, products, and services they offer to prospective students and employees.

Mancosa, Educos, Stadio, ETA College, Optimum Financial Services, SAB and Afriski are amongst the many entities that are set to exhibit at the Career Expo.

Commenting on the importance of the Career Expo, CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki said:

“CSA is forever keen to be involved in initiatives that are geared at benefiting communities. This Career Expo is designed to offer much-needed career guidance to the many potential beneficiaries who are expected to descend on SuperSport Park. CSA is excited at the prospect of this Expo making a difference in the lives of young people; something that we are passionate about.

“The prime advantage to visitors to the Expo is that they will get to experience the thrill that will be delivered by the Proteas’ encounter with their West Indies counterparts over a five-day period. Combats on the field between the two teams have never failed to be spectacularly fascinating and this series promises no less of the spark.

“I thank SuperSport Park for opening its doors for this noble endeavour. This collaborative effort bodes well for our concerted efforts at responding to the career needs of our fans and broader society.

“I call on all our fans and communities to take advantage of this first-ever Career Expo to explore the depth of information that will be on offer, which might enhance their career paths.”
