Speaking on the vision of the tournament, Chief Development Officer of Oman Cricket, Duleep Mendis said, “It gives me great joy to announce the start of the 2nd edition of the All-Omani competition. One of our aims at Oman Cricket has always been to build on successful staging of events and further cultivate an active interest towards the game of cricket in the nation’s local youths. In addition, I believe that grassroots cricket and the inclusion of ethnic participation is the foundation that holds up the game in any country. We have already taken multiple steps in ensuring its robust health in Oman and this event is another milestone on that same path. I thank all the players and teams that have signed up and wish them the very best of luck”.

There will be arrangements for the spectators to watch the games live at the Oman Cricket Academy.
