OFFICIAL ODI JERSEY FOR SRI LANKA VS AFGHANISTAN ODI SERIES LAUNCHED

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) yesterday struck it rich with Moose Clothing Company as it’s official clothing partner for 2023-27 bonding two of Sri Lanka’s main strengths cricket and fashion and apparel manufacturing. The lively occasion last night at the Ramada Hotel chaired by SLC’s Hony General Secretary, Mohan de Silva flanked by Moose’s CEO, Hasib Omar and other top officials and Men’s Captain Dimuth Karunaratne and Women’s Captain, Chamari Athapaththu, also marked the launch of the launch of the ODI jersey by Moose for the upcoming Sri Lanka versus Afghanistan Men’s ODI series with the Afghanistan team having arrived on Wednesday.

Welcoming the Moose Clothing Company officials with special mention of it’s CEO, Hasib Omar, the cricketers, Head Coach, Chris  Silverwood, Manager, Mahinda Halangoda, the media and other VIPs present, SLC’s Hony General Secretary, Mohan de Silva, said that Moose which had won over other bidders carried the immense clout of matching SLC”s brand of cricket in  the  required quality of the cricketers attire.

“We see delighted to have a company of this magnitude and look forward to continue this relationship that would benefit SLC covering all ICC and ACC events,” he quipped while observing that ‘before this too Moose had supported SLC for the ICC World Cup in 2019. Definitely Moose Clothing Company is bound to benefit by this for many more years to come. We look forward to working very closely with you.’

Moose Clothing Company CEO, Hasib Omar, taking the floor, said, “The partnership aims to bring together two of Sri Lanka’s main strengths- apparel industry and cricket. We would like to use this partnership to showcase the sparkling creativity, talent and strengths of Moose Clothing on the global stage. Ultimately, I hope this will help us to herald a new era for for Sri Lanka’s fashion and apparel industry.”

SLC CEO, Ashley de Silva said, “This partnership further enhances Moose Clothing Company’s continuous engagement with Sri Lanka Cricket to promote the game, and by doing so, I am sure the firm’s well recognised clothing brand will gain the required global exposure.”

Moose Clothing Company Head of  Marketing, Kithmini de Silva said, “This partnership goes beyond a piece of clothing to capturing Sri Lanka cricket and the passion of the game.”
