Hazrat Ltd. Mis-e Ainak Knights secured a comprehensive win against ACTU Speenghar Tigers beating them by 58 runs in the 7th match of Etisalat 4G Shpageeza Cricket League at Kabul Cricket Stadium.

Batting first, Mohammad Shahzad, Hashmatullah Shahidi, and Man of the match Bahar Ali Shinwari scored half-centuries to propel the Knights to a mounting target of 221/4, the highest team-total so far this season. Shahzad and Shinwari provided the Knights with a blistering 94-run opening stand. Abdullah Adil was the only notable performer with the ball for the Tigers taking 36/2 off his 4 overs.

In response, Speenghar Tigers lost wickets early in quick succession struggling at 22/3 in the first 4 overs. Skipper Karim Sadiq and Fazal Zazai tried to stabilize the innings for their team with knocks of 33 and 23 runs respectively. However, the target proved to be an almost impossible task from there on as the required run-rate continued to rise resulting in the Tigers getting all out for 163 in the penultimate over of the chase.

Senior left-arm spinner Abdullah Mazari bowled brilliantly taking 4 wickets giving away only 26 off his 4 overs in a high-scoring game. Knights’ skipper Shapoor Zadran also gave a tremendous performance as he claimed three wickets in 2.3 overs.
