ACB: Afghanistan national team player test negative for Covid-19

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) started a Training Camp one and a half month ago for the National Team players. All the players were tested for Covid-19 upon the completion of Training Camp as an added precautionary measure to fight the spread of the virus.

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) started a Training Camp one and a half month ago for the National Team players. All the players were tested for Covid-19 upon the completion of Training Camp as an added precautionary measure to fight the spread of the virus.

Moreover, Afghanistan Cricket Board together with Ministry of Public Health conducted an awareness raising workshop for all the players to ensure safety of the players.

It is with great pleasure to announce that Ministry of Public health has just informed us that all the players have tested negative.

Moreover, three days ago, Afghanistan – Coronavirus Prevention Committee, approved commencement of cricket games which is why Shpageeza Cricket League, First Division Provincial games and List A games will soon start.

Afghanistan Cricket Board strongly adheres to and is committed to the recommendations of World Health Organization and Ministry of Public Health to fight the spread of the virus and ensure proper prevention and remains grateful to all the relevant organization especially Ministry of Public Health.
