The Melbourne Renegades are pleased to confirm the appointment of James Rosengarten as the club’s new General Manager.

A qualified Lawyer, Mr Rosengarten has held senior roles with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Mazda.

He is also a current Advisory Board Member for the Global Institute of Sport and will commence his role with the Renegades in the coming weeks.

“This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining the Melbourne Renegades,” Mr Rosengarten said.

“The Big Bash has firmly established itself in the Australian sporting calendar and I’m looking forward to helping our club continue to grow.

“I’m committed to ensuring our members and fans are proud of their club, our players and coaches have the best chance of on-field success and we provide value to our current and future commercial partners.”

Mr Rosengarten comes from the Australian Grand Prix Corporation where he was the General Manager of Strategy, Government Relations and Legal & General Counsel.

In his role as General Manager with Mazda, he was responsible for sales, customer service and commercial agreements throughout Victoria.

“The calibre of candidates we spoke to throughout this recruitment process was exceptionally high and a strong reflection of the esteem the Big Bash is held in,” Cricket Victoria’s interim Chief Executive Officer Nick Cummins said.

“James comes from a legal background and his commercial acumen, strategic mindset and experience in growing markets throughout Melbourne’s west leave him well positioned for a successful tenure with the Renegades.”
