Cricket Australia (CA) and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 local organizing committee (LOC) welcome a $4.4 million funding commitment to multicultural programs from the Australian Government, as outlined in Tuesday evening’s budget papers.
The $4.4 million investment over two years will help deliver multicultural participation programs that support the legacy objectives of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 and enrich Australian cricket’s proud vision of being a sport for all.
The programs created will support the participation of multicultural Australians at all levels of cricket, generate significant positive health and social outcomes for multicultural communities and empower members of those communities through cricket leadership roles.
CA will work closely with priority partnerships, including the Usman Khawaja Foundation, to ensure the successful delivery of these legacy programs.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Local Organizing Committee CEO, Michelle Enright said:
