ICC MEN’S T20 WORLD CUP 2022 CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL DAY OF FAMILIES WITH FREE KIDS TICKET OFFER

Families are being encouraged to book their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 experience, with the launch of a limited time ticketing offer aimed at bringing more kids through the gates for T20 cricket’s pinnacle global event.

To celebrate International Day of Families, fans who purchase an adult ticket via t20worldcup.com between 15 May and 11:59 pm on 31 May 2022 can secure a child’s ticket for free. The offer is available to all T20 World Cup matches, excluding the Semi-Finals and Final.

It’s the first time Australia will host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which is just five months away, being played from 16 October – 13 November this year.

The event will feature the world’s best cricketers from 16 international teams with matches being played in Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Tickets are accessibly priced with adult tickets available from $20 at matches in each host city.

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Local Organising Committee CEO Michelle Enright said:

“ICC events play an important role in inspiring the next generation and the entertainment and dynamic nature of T20 cricket appeals to fans of all ages and levels of interest in the game, making the T20 World Cup the perfect afternoon or night out for the whole family.

“We wanted to recognise the occasion of International Day of Families, which is observed on May 15 each year, to make a special offer to encourage as many families as possible to experience a home World Cup.”

Fans are encouraged to join the general ticket waitlist at tickets.t20worldcup.com to be informed should any more tickets become available for these two match-days.

There are also only a limited number of tickets remaining for the opening Super 12 clash between Australia and New Zealand at the SCG on 22 October.
