  • Second cohort of ICC/USA Cricket Level 1: Coaching Fundamentals Practical Workshops launched across the United States of America
  • Serves as the third and final stage of the USA Cricket Level 1: Coaching Fundamentals course, following on from the first stage ICC Foundation Course, and the second stage ICC Coaching Course Level 1 online modules.
  • Those wishing to complete their ICC/USA Cricket Level 1: Coaching Fundamentals course must complete stages 1 & 2 and then register for the final stage in-person practical workshop.

USA Cricket is delighted to announce the second batch of dates for the ICC/USA Cricket Level 1: Coaching Fundamentals Practical Workshops. These 8-hour in-person comprehensive courses serve as the final stage for those wishing to complete their Level 1 coaching certification. To be eligible to register participants must have completed and passed both the ICC Foundation Certificate, and the ICC Coaching Course Level 1 modules.

There will be 8 workshops held in the second half of 2023. Each workshop will be run by accredited ICC Tutor Trainers, with each course limited to 20 participants. The cost of the 8-hour course is $100 and is required to be paid at the time of registration.

The dates and locations of the six workshops are as below…

– Orange County, CA – Sat Aug 26th or Sunday 27th
– DC – Sat Sep 9th or Sun 10th
– NY – Sat Sep 23rd or Sun 24th
– Dallas, TX – Sat Sep 30th
– Atlanta, GA – Sat Oct 21st or Sun 22nd
– New Jersey – Sat 25th Nov or Sun 26th
– Morrisville, NC – Sat 2nd Dec or Sun 3rd
– Tampa, FL – Sat 16th Dec or Sun 17th

For those wishing to start their coach certification journey, the ICC Foundation Certificate Course and the ICC Coaching Course Level 1 are delivered entirely online and are open to anyone seeking to take their first step on the coaching ladder and can be accessed by clicking this link. Both components serve as stages one and two of the USA Cricket Level 1: Coaching Fundamentals course.

Summary of the USA Cricket Level 1: Coaching Fundamentals course:

● ICC Foundation Course (six online modules)
● ICC Coaching Course Level 1 (three modules)
● In Person Practical Workshop and assessments
● First Aid and Safeguarding certificates.

USA Cricket also plans to run at least one Level 2 course in 2023 and will release details as soon as the curriculum has been finalized by the ICC.
