Cricket Australia is pleased to announce the Umpire Panels for the 2023-24 summer of cricket.

The National Umpires Panel and Supplementary Umpires Panel oversee the bulk of CA’s professional domestic competitions and contain a wealth of playing and officiating experience.

There are no changes to the National Umpire Panel for season 2023-24.

Drew Crozier has been selected to the Supplementary Umpire Panel, bringing the total on this panel to seven for the 2023-2024 season.

Cricket continues to encourage the development of more female officials, with the contracting of Claire Polosak and Eloise Sheridan – two of the world’s best female umpires – who both enjoyed on-field debuts in KFC BBL|12.

Australia will also have two new representatives on the global stage with Ashlee Gibbons and Lisa McCabe appointed to the International Panel of ICC Development Umpires.

Australians Rod Tucker and Paul Reiffel have retained their ICC umpire contracts, along with ICC Match Referee David Boon.

Damien Mealey, Chairman of the Cricket Australia Umpire Selection Panel said:

“The quality of the panels is an endorsement of the outstanding umpiring talent within Australian cricket.

“The selection panel is encouraged by the emergence of new umpires developing across all States and Territories, which has resulted in several first-class debuts placing match officiating in a very strong position moving forward.

“I would especially like to congratulate Drew Crozier on his elevation to the Supplementary Umpire Panel, which has been well earned after his strong performances over a number of seasons.”
