As the three-match T20 International series between the Proteas and Australia at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium approaches, the stadium and KZN Cricket have launched the Catch a R100K for the three games starting on 30 August.

Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium is currently celebrating 100 years since the first test match was played at the iconic venue, and to give fans a piece of the celebrations, they have the chance to win R100 000 for each clean, one-handed catch taken in the stands during the series.

As the stadium naming rights holders Hollywoodbets and their Brand and Communications Manager Devin Heffer are excited to see fans with an opportunity to win while enjoying some entertaining cricket in a few weeks’ time.

“As stadium sponsors of Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, we absolutely love the idea of making every visit to the ground an experience and one that is filled with opportunity and fun!” Heffer said.

“The Catch A R100k initiative is great incentive for any fan to buy their tickets for the KFC T20 International Series today, where not only do they get to witness world class action between the Proteas and Australia, but they could walk away with a life-changing prize!”

With the entire series taking place at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium, CEO of the KZN Cricket Union Heinrich Strydom is urging fans to get their tickets as quickly as possible as the international cricket bug bites.

“To have the whole series play out in front of the fans at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead Stadium is incredible,” Strydom said.

“For us to be able to give our loyal fans the chance to catch R100 000 is very exciting and we hope to see a lot of sixes over the three matches.

“T20 cricket continues to draw fans to stadiums and with two world class teams going head-to-head at our historic ground, it’s set up to be a memorable series.”
