Look out for a new commercial partner on the BLACKCAPS shirt during the upcoming T20I series in the UAE.

NZC has inked a three-year deal with Wellington-based online insurance platform Life Direct, which specialises in providing customers a platform to compare and buy policies from leading insurance providers.

The partnership will see the company’s branding on the BLACKCAPS shirt for all internationals played in New Zealand, as well as the upcoming series in the UAE, England, and Bangladesh.

Life Direct will also be the series partner for all WHITE FERNS ODIs played in New Zealand.

NZC GM Commercial Chris Smith welcomed the partnership with Life Direct.

“It’s great to have another strong New Zealand business teaming up with NZC, in this case as our exclusive life and health insurance partner,” he said.

“Life Direct is a premium brand in the New Zealand market and, as such, an appropriate Team Partner for the BLACKCAPS and series partner for the WHITE FERNS.

We look forward to Life Direct joining the team at an exciting time for cricket in New Zealand.”

Managing Director at Life Direct Mark Solomon says his team is delighted with the announcement.

“We are absolutely thrilled to partner with New Zealand Cricket. It marks an exciting chapter as we combine our passion for excellence with that of the BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS.

“We look forward to working alongside both teams as we head into the upcoming summer and beyond.”
