With just over 30 days until the first ball flies, Sydney Thunder are gearing up for their Big Bash campaigns, starting with the launch of their fresh new look.

Inspired by the beauty of natural textures and guided by the creative direction of ‘best gets better,’ the KFC Big Bash League and Weber Women’s Big Bash League Nike kits reflect a commitment to community, creativity, and the environment.

Not only inspired by the communities around us, they are designed with high-performance in mind, the perfect blend of style and innovation.

But it’s not just the sport stars that get to have all the fun, with an all-new range of training and supporter gear to show your #ThunderNation colours.

The Weber WBBL|09 starts October 22 for the Thunder, as they face local rivals Sydney Sixers at the North Sydney Oval.

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s Head of Big Bash Leagues, said:

“With the WBBL just 30 days away, we’re thrilled to unveil these Nike kits, they look sensational and will no doubt get fans excited about the upcoming seasons.

“Innovation is at the heart of the Big Bash and we love these kits that are taking performance and fan connection to the next level with these designs.”

Andrew Gilchrist, Head of Sydney Thunder, said:

“Launching the new kit is hugely exciting. We’re feeling a shift here at HQ [Cricket Central] as the new era for Sydney Thunder begins, the fresh new look is only adding to it.

“I’m glad we can reflect the change we’re feeling outward with a revamp of our kit, new players and new coaching staff. We have all the makings for an extremely captivating summer.”
