LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the appointment of former Pakistan fast bowler Aqib Javed as the new Director of High Performance, a key strategic move aimed at strengthening Pakistan’s cricket infrastructure.
Aqib Javed, who represented Pakistan in 22 Test matches and 163 ODIs between 1988 and 1998, brings decades of experience as both a player and coach. He has previously served as interim head coach of the Pakistan men’s team and has been actively involved in domestic and franchise cricket development roles.
