The Pakistan Super League has officially kicked off its PSL 11 buildup by revealing the lead artist and creative direction for this year’s anthem, placing Atif Aslam at the centre of a multi-artist production.
“A new era. A legendary voice. Atif Aslam leads the HBL PSL anthem 🎤,” Pakistan Super League posted on X (official social media), formally confirming his role as the headline act for the upcoming edition.

Atif Aslam’s return marks a continuation of PSL’s reliance on established musical figures to anchor its flagship anthem, particularly those with a proven track record of audience engagement.
“When he takes over the anthem, you don’t just hear it, you feel it. Atif Aslam is ready to bring the heat to HBL PSL11, are you?” the league added, building momentum around his involvement.
“Different voices. One beat. One nation. Pepsi x HBL PSL11 anthem, “Khelenge Beat Pe” lineup is here and it’s about to hit stronger than ever!” PSL announced, introducing the anthem title and signalling a collaborative approach built around multiple voices and genres.
The title “Khelenge Beat Pe” reflects a shift towards blending cricketing identity with musical rhythm, positioning the anthem as both a sporting and cultural statement ahead of the tournament. While the title and lineup have now been revealed, the full anthem is yet to be released.
Multi-artist lineup reflects PSL’s evolving music strategy
This year’s anthem moves further into a collaborative format, bringing together artists from different musical backgrounds to broaden appeal.
“When soul meets the stadium, magic happens. Sabri Sisters are bringing their power to HBL PSL 11, are you ready to feel it?” PSL posted, confirming the inclusion of the Sabri Sisters, whose Sufi and qawwali roots introduce a traditional layer to the composition.
Alongside them, Aima Baig returns as one of the most consistent voices in PSL anthems, adding continuity to the lineup while maintaining familiarity with the league’s audience.
“When the energy is this high, the stadium alone can’t contain it. Aima Baig is ready to light up HBL PSL 11, are you ready?” the league stated, positioning her as a key component of the anthem’s high-energy delivery.
Daniya Kanwal’s inclusion adds a newer dimension, with the rapper representing PSL’s continued push to integrate emerging voices and contemporary styles into its music.
“A fresh voice for a new era. Daniya Kanwal is ready to set the tone for HBL PSL 11, are you ready to feel the beat?” PSL added, highlighting her role in shaping the anthem’s modern sound profile.
Anthem direction shaped by past criticism and fan expectations
PSL’s anthem strategy has evolved in response to mixed reactions in recent years, where some editions drew criticism for repetitive artist selections and lack of fresh direction.
The inclusion of artists like Daniya Kanwal and the Sabri Sisters suggests a conscious shift towards diversifying the soundscape, combining pop, rap influences, and traditional elements to create a more layered production.
At the same time, Atif Aslam’s presence provides a familiar anchor, with his previous PSL anthems having achieved strong viewership and fan engagement, setting high expectations for this year’s release.
PSL 11 build-up continues ahead of expanded season
The anthem reveal forms part of a broader buildup to PSL 11, which is scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3.
This edition will feature 44 matches across six venues, with two new teams joining the competition and expanding the league beyond its original six franchises.
With fixtures spread across Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Peshawar, the tournament is entering a new phase of growth, and the anthem is expected to play a central role in driving fan engagement once it is officially released in the coming days.
