The Big Bash Leagues have announced a new multi-year partnership with global sportswear brand New Balance, introducing bold new playing kits for all eight men’s and women’s teams ahead of the 2024–25 summer season.
The fresh designs for the KFC Big Bash League and Weber Women’s Big Bash League will be revealed in October, with the kits set to debut during the WBBL|11 opener on November 9 and the BBL|15 opener on December 14 when the Perth Scorchers face the Sydney Sixers at Optus Stadium.
Performance meets presence in new kit designs
The new range, crafted for performance and styled for visual impact, aims to empower athletes to express themselves while promoting community impact through sport. Fans can also join in with an all-new selection of training and supporter gear.
Alistair Dobson, General Manager of Big Bash Leagues, shared his excitement:
“We’re thrilled to partner with New Balance for at least the next five Big Bash seasons. Like the Big Bash Leagues, New Balance does things differently, and we’re excited to see our clubs take things to the next level in new playing kits.”
He added that the collaboration aligns with the Big Bash’s core focus on player connection and fan experience.
New Balance aims to elevate T20 fan experience
Dean Howard, New Balance Australia Regional GM, emphasized the brand’s commitment to performance and community:
“The Big Bash provides a platform for New Balance to play at the intersection of sporting culture whilst bringing an elevated, global brand experience to the sport.”
New Balance’s teamwear partner Belgravia Apparel will help bring the kits to life across professional and supporter merchandise.
Exciting start to BBL|15 season
The KFC BBL|15 season kicks off with high drama as the reigning champion Hobart Hurricanes host the Sydney Thunder in a grand final rematch on December 16 at Ninja Stadium. Full fixtures for both the BBL and WBBL will be announced shortly, with club memberships now open for renewal.
