Role: County Safeguarding Officer

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Salary: £26 – 30k depending on experience
Probation period: 3 months
Contract Type: Permanent at 37 hours per week
Location: Cricket East head office, St Neots Town FC PE19 6SL
Closing Date for applications: 12noon Wednesday 26th March 2025
Interview dates (in person): Wednesday 2nd April 2025 – All interviews will be on a face-to-face basis
Interview Venue: St Neots Town FC, PE19 6SL

The Role: To lead the Cricket East Safeguarding strategy across Bedfordshire and Huntingdonshire, ensuring safe and inclusive cultures within all our programmes, clubs and leagues. To provide the link between the ECB Safeguarding Team and the recreational game.

The County Safeguarding Officer acts as a source of advice and support on all Safeguarding matters and leads education and training.
